After being falsely accused of a crime, Billy the Kid (Buster Crabbe) is on the run from the law with his amigo, Fuzzy Q. Jones (Al "Fuzzy" St. John). They enter a ghost town whose residents have fled in fear of Billy. Only a few bandits remain, under the command of ex-sheriff Dalton Sykes (John Merton), who is scheming to find a hidden gold mine. Hearing that Billy is in town, Dalton sends his cronies to kill him -- but he soon learns that the legendary gunslinger is hard to kill.

Audience Member

Although the mysterious Rider was a good Western, I do not believe they cast the right person for the character of Billy the Kid. Buster just didn’t look like Billy the Kid to me, but anyway, all in all it was still a good movie and I will recommend it James Welch, Henderson, Arkansas December 19, 2022
