Audience Member NOPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Audience Member I usually find josh Stewart gets meaty gritty rolls and this is no exception. We aren't sure at the beginning of the film whether we want to like his character or not, given his "occupation " But he always wins over the audience, and we quickly start cheering for him to save the day. A decent cast overall, really good cinematography, a good script that doesn't include lines just for the sake of including lines, and has a few really good moments that you don't expect Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Loved it. Wonderful and original. Slasher fans probably won’t be enamored because it’s low on the gore and splatter. But tense and fun. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/27/18 Full Review Audience Member A surprisingly effective little thriller. The acting isn’t bad at all and the premise is pretty tense (though after we find the killers motivation it seemed less scary) Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/15/18 Full Review Audience Member The tomatometer is the most bullshit meter around, they must like shit movies... Always trust the audience meter, they always know what a good movie looks like! Now the first half of the movie is drawn out way to long, it took half the movie to explain the couple are drug dealers saving enough money to escape. Then the second half goes into the father and sons combo that kidnap people for ransom... that is basically it, wasn't entertaining I was left thinking "wow, that took an hour and a half to explain that? I scored it so harshly because I believe the current rating is misleading. The concept was there but lacked any decent story, it could have been much better. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member I just thought it was terrible in every regard. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Anton Bitel Little White Lies The Neighbour offers a collection of tense, increasingly improbable thrills, accompanied by uncomfortable moral alignments in a world where everyone is marginalised and nobody can afford to obey the law. Oct 31, 2016 Full Review Kevin Maher Times (UK) The Neighbour is a serviceable B-movie thriller that's in the bizarre position of having nothing whatsoever to offer in terms of originality, performance, visual pleasure or storytelling verve. Rated: 2/5 Oct 10, 2016 Full Review Leslie Felperin Guardian This rough and raw thriller is reminiscent of the sort of pleasingly tawdry fare they used to show at drive-in cinemas and grindhouses back in the day, in a good way. Rated: 3/5 Sep 15, 2016 Full Review Kevin Harley Total Film A meaty stew of likeable leads, hard-kicking suspense and air-punching action Rated: 4/5 Dec 28, 2016 Full Review Jennie Kermode Eye for Film Overall, The Neighbour treads familiar ground well, so can be forgiven the occasional slip - after all, one never knows what might be underfoot. Rated: 3/5 Sep 27, 2016 Full Review David Aldridge Radio Times It's decently acted and decently made. At the same time, though, there's nothing particularly exceptional going on here.
