Deborah Young The Hollywood Reporter It blends in with the use of handheld camera and extremely naturalistic dialog culled from hours of taping the non-pro cast. The labor pays off in a strong sense of realism. Jan 8, 2020 Full Review Roger Ebert Chicago Sun-Times Quinn photographed his film over four years, and yet, as his own editor, has mastered what must have been hours of material into a story so convincingly embedded in the band and parade that it would have been impossible to create it just for a film. Rated: 3/4 Dec 10, 2009 Full Review Sam Adams Los Angeles Times A low-key but satisfying blend of melodrama and observant naturalism. Rated: B Dec 2, 2009 Full Review Ray Pride Newcity The seemingly improvised performances have a sweet, ragged edge, and the music swells. Jan 8, 2020 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member Low budget indie with unknown actors, turned out to be a great film. You feel the pain of the characters going though divorce as a family. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Low-key yet honest and satisfying, melodramatic yet observant and natural. A truly independent indie film. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Audience Member I found this film slow and mediocre from start to finish. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/15/23 Full Review Audience Member Its about a "broken" working class family in South Philly; you slowly get to know everyone and the reason behind the divorce; a son, a daughter, mom, and dad---about growing up too--everyone's a little messed up; feel authentic Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/18/23 Full Review Audience Member A movie about a family and their two kids who are dealing with a sepration. This wasn't the best movie by far, but there were some moments that wern't completely awful. For the most part though it wasn't an easy movie to get involved in since it was so dull.
