It uses a thin plot touching on the classic Hong Kong action themes of brotherhood and loyalty as an excuse to string together a series of gonzo action set-pieces so ingeniously bloody that one could conceivably classify the film as horror.

This is incredibly violent to the point of disturbing. Nonetheless, the fight scenes are some of the best I've ever seen. But this is a very dark and depressing story.

Overwhelmingly gory - the fight scenes aren't choreographed to a commendable extent, they just rely on senseless violence. Watch the raid movies instead!!

Je n’ai même pas été au bout du film, très déçu alors que j'adore les acteurs. Nous sommes a des années lumière de The Raid. Des faux raccord en pagaille, des scènes toutes moins crédibles les unes que les autres. Je ne pensais pas que Iko Uwais pourrait jouer dans un film aussi d'aussi bas étage... je ne comprends d'ailleurs pas qu’il soit si bien noté

The Night Comes for Us (2018) is an Indonesian action movie. For me, while watching the movie, the only thing I understood was the need to save the girl. The beginning of the film really put me to sleep, but once the action sequences began, they kept me engaged and pulled me away from dozing off. It's a very brutal action movie. There are very few musical scores in the film because the action sequences are filled with intense sound design and voice work. Watch it for the action scenes.

An action packed parade choreographed to some wonderful fight scenes. A must see I've enjoyed more than once. I'm not much for sub titled movies but this is a must watch if you are looking for that adrenaline charged rush!

As a die-hard action fan, I went into this movie with high expectations—and it still managed to blow me away. The action sequences are intense, brutal, and beautifully choreographed. It’s a full-on adrenaline rush from start to finish. This one’s a must-watch for any action junkie.☠️ If you liked this, I highly recommend checking out Ninja Assassin, Bloodhounds, and the Roundup series. You won’t be disappointed🙃
