Grace Kingsley Los Angeles Times A fairy tale of life, but a highly imaginative and delightful one. May 24, 2023 Full Review Theodore Osborn Eltonhead Motion Picture News Though the story for this picture is slight it is pleasing and interesting and furnishes a pleasant hour's diversion. The triteness of the story, however, is more than compensated for in the great beauty and general ability of Doris Kenyon, the star. May 24, 2023 Full Review Wid Gunning The Film Daily After the story really got under way it went from bad to worse and it kept slipping until it was entirely gone. May 24, 2023 Full Review Thomas C. Kennedy Motography No very enthusiastic remarks are prompted by the characters as the author drew them, but a great deal can be said in their favor because of an excellent portrayal or two by the players. May 24, 2023 Full Review Edward Weitzel Moving Picture World Frederick Chapin's story contains a number of entertaining moments, but the material employed is somewhat familiar. Nick M The Ocean Waif is a dish irresponsibly thrown together from the offcuts and trimmings of a decent meal by someone who was too hungry or ignorant to care about taste, presentation, or food safety. Doris Kenyon is fine, but there is nothing else to recommend this. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 07/11/24 Full Review Read all reviews
