Dennis Harvey Variety 02/03/2022
Its cast struggling against material with little real-world or emotional logic, the attempted “surreal” elements uninspired both conceptually and aesthetically, this is a misfire whose intentions are as murky as its results are hapless. Go to Full Review

It's not an easy film to decipher, but it does have a thematic and emotional dimension that could be satisfying for certain audiences. Full review in Spanish. Go to Full Review

There are more than a few moments that scream Low Budget & "Made in Rep of Georgia" (both true) but the weird premise works. Jim Sturgess is an underrated actor, and he carries the ball for everything ... a decent enough journey to go along for the ride. Go to Full Review

There may be some who find deep meaning in Agladzes pretentious parable, but for most it will be a riddle without rhyme or reason. Go to Full Review

Jerod S @jeroduptown 03/17/2024 The Other Me is a confusing little flick - with a guy going blind and yet able to see things most can't. But when you get lost on who he really is, the film isn't fun anymore. See more Obi W 12/22/2022 Lynch fanatic, soooo.... not so keen on plot, but whole experience a true Lynchian masterpiece, imho.. See more 03/16/2022 The story is very interesting and inspiring. The place where they were filming is beautiful. The actors and actresses are all very good, but Andreja Pejic along with Jim S. Is really special, like coming from another world! She looks like a magnificent alien, beautiful and intriguing and mystical at the same time and there is an obvious chemistry between Jim and her! See more 02/20/2022 The way I see this movie is quite straightforward - it makes you think. It pushes you to delve deep down your soul and find answers to something you see but can not perceive easily. The manner of direction is splendid - it's warm and cozy, with a touch of dreamy effect that makes you all enchanted until you see the final cut of the scene. It's lucid that people are tired nowadays. Most of them don't enjoy witnessing something that remains oblivious. They'd rather sit down with a sandwich and watch kitsch, or a crime story or a fervent romance that usually doesn't occur in life. What does transpire is the verity that we are born with a man and a woman living inside us. They navigate our life, they switch the driver's seat as required - they go hand in hand. It's just some people refuse to see it, some deny it. Some even don't realize it. But I believe that's one of the most important ideas of the film - to signify (in an artsy way) that the moment we acknowledge the aforementioned, the moment we accept it, only then we become complete. See more 02/11/2022 It really is a wonderful film, with excellent actors, with an exciting story and a message that moved me. See more 02/11/2022 Very interesting movie! You have to think a lot and it's not just a regular Hollywood type of movie. Stunning cinematography and screenplay. Very good actors and director did a very good job portraying misty atmosphere and kept us thinking about the other us. Very good images in Georgia, Europe. "The Other Me" is inside all of us! It's not just identity, the meaning of the movie is very diverse. Movie is unique but it feels like it was mixture of influences like Lynch, Bergman, Nolan, Tarkovsky, Kurosawa and Hitchcock. It's nothing like them but it has feel to it. See more Read all reviews
