For a Netflix movie that was obviously reverse-engineered from its title, and even more obviously made by the director of The Wrong Missy, Tyler Spindel’s The Out-Laws could be a hell of a lot worse.

Despite its star cast, The Outlaws never feels bigger than a made-for-TV movie. If you paid to see it on the big screen you’d certainly feel robbed, but it gets away with being a decent enough, watch-and-forget viewing on a rainy winter night.

This movie was defmitely not the best of 2023, not close to the best comedies out there, but it was enjoyable. This is a perfect family movie. No nudity or anything like that. A good movie these days is a rare thing, especially comedies. Its obviously low budget but that's why I rated it only a 3. A lot of room for improvement here and a bit goofy. But it kept me entertained all the way through, and that's what matters. There's just one issue which I don't get it, maybe a plot hole towards the end, I don't want to give spoilers but that didn't make sense. Otherwise very good comedy. But I guess sometimes you just have to realize its a movie, just to have fun, and not think so seriously about it. Acting was alright, pace was fantastic, never a dull moment

this movie is very stupid. the kind of stupid i love. it's one of my comfort movies. it's the only movie i've ever watched twice in the same day. if you don't like adam devine, skip it. fantastic cast, and stupid-fun story. my favorite bit is the disdain ellen and pierce have for adam the entire movie.

Had to bail 15 minutes in. Just couldn’t bear to watch it any more. Adam DeVine’s slapstick acting belongs in the Charlie Chaplin era. I don’t think I’ve ever watched a movie where his character doesn’t irritate me, even small parts. He is not leading man material. Pathetic puerile vulgar sex jokes and innuendo. Just lazy script writing, which is the weakest element of this movie. Not much better from Richard Kind’s character. I selected this because I hoped Pierce Brosnan would be in a reasonable movie but alas, no. I feel sorry for him. The critics rating (22%) is about right, and only for those that like this genre.
