Tygari D This is a decent horror but nothing grand. The jump scares fall flat by being wildlly televised and predictable. The story is decent coming together at the end but isnt the greatest. The acting is mediocre with the fathers being the best. The special effects are pretty good with the painting scenes being excellent. This is definately worth a first watch but after that leave and never repeat. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 11/25/25 Full Review Samantha L. I really enjoyed this film. It borrows part of Oscar Wilde’s “Picture of Dorian Grey” story elements but it somehow manages to capture something more interesting all together. It is a slow burn and has an excellent backstory that evolves consistently throughout the movie. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/08/25 Full Review Lindsey W. It is very interesting and I like it Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/26/25 Full Review James L Had a great hook and good scares all the way through that kept me watching. The family had good characters and had a very strong dynamic that made it easy to care for them. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 10/19/25 Full Review Matt L This rating is because (1) the idea is great…but more pertinent (2) they failed at the concept and it was terrible, but just kept providing fodder scene after scene to make fun of it. If you’re a fan of watching crappy horror to joke about how bad it is, this one is the gift that keeps on giving. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 06/27/25 Full Review patricia l This was not a terrible 'B rated' horror film. However the back story seems to be lost... somehow the origional women was upset with her sister (cousin?) Newly married husbands family which leads to her coming after there family once they leave the intital house... how the curse is carried and how these demonds can now make their own portal paintings after it was explained a spell had to be cast... it gets lost. Dont think id watch it again but wasnt so bad i turned it off. The jump scares were pretty good. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 06/23/25 Full Review Read all reviews
