John Doyle Globe and Mail 05/26/2020
[The] director, Patryk Vega, is also interested in speeding up the story, and the narrative here moves at a blistering pace. He makes most European crime dramas look painfully slow and oblique. Go to Full Review
Elisabeth Vincentelli New York Times 04/24/2020
A pulsating rage at the way society neglects women in particular, its weakest members in general, courses through the movie. More than the displays of flayed flesh, it's what sticks. Go to Full Review
Mike McCahill Guardian 11/29/2018

Offering a set-piece every 10 minutes, a twist every 30, it's pure pulp, but Vega knows how to sell it, and there are pearls of wisdom amid the nastiness. Go to Full Review
Alix Turner Ready Steady Cut 02/03/2021

Serial killer detective thriller: bloody, nasty, fast-paced and thoroughly Polish, written and directed by Patryk Vega. It's exciting, and has a great story, familiar in parts, but only just. Go to Full Review

Police hunt serial killer; language and extreme violence. Go to Full Review

HABIBA NAZEERA B 09/04/2024 A compact and detailed thriller movie. Great movie. Well done! Female leads! Not for those who love meaningless action/male dominated drama. See more 01/19/2022 I liked this Polish film. Elements of Girl with a Dragon Tattoo and Se7en for a complicated serial killer chase. See more 11/08/2021 THIS IS A WILD RIDE. PLOT TWISTS GALORE See more 01/28/2021 It had all the ingredients for a great sinister movie. But it lacked nuances, the first half of the movie had a good pace, the second half tumbled off in a rollercoaster. It lacked depth and buildup. Also the main detective story and character was very cliché. See more 07/06/2020 Cat and mouse chase where the cat ends up being the bird watching the cat who was really a mouse. I can admit I didn't see the twists coming even though I had questions about the certain someone who suddenly appeared. The acting was so raw that I let it slide just to see what would happen next. Love a good police crime series. Appreciated how it got all the things in within a good amount of episodes. I think it kept the tension high and the urgency to find out the outcome. Would definitely recommend to another police crime enthusiast. See more 07/02/2020 It really reminded me of se7en, but with more interesting political commentary and a fairly suprising end. I found the lead cop a very complex and interesting character. See more Read all reviews
