Hope If you love a good mystery rom-com, this movie is for you. The acting is phenomenal!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/10/24 Full Review Andrew O Horrible. The story was all over the place. This is NOT a comedy. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/09/24 Full Review Gary G I'm sorry... interesting concept but the two lead actors sucked Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/25/24 Full Review Adam S Great film with a terrific twist! Incredible what they were able to do with the limited resources they had making the film. I read the critics reviews before I wrote this so I must comment that I think they were looking for the movie that they wanted and expected. When you are going to see an independent film expect nothing. The filmmakers made a film that they loved and to me that made it all the more enjoyable. Can't wait to see more from Illusion Islands and Ayiyi Productions! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/17/24 Full Review Ally H What a twist! This movie starts off great- Matt Rife, where you'll see his ripped abs in part of the movie, has a great act as the detective. Elliot was a perfect fit for David & you'll see some big names in the film! Jack Cook did a great job with the production & I can't wait to see his future films! Definitely a must see- be sure you're looking out for clues from start to finish. Was so intriguing that I had to see it twice! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/14/24 Full Review Stan P It starts off a little slow, but is worth hanging in there for. The twist at the end brings it all together very well and I'm looking forward to seeing it again to pick up things I missed the first time around. Well done! Ben Shehadi Film Threat Ultimately, it’s a missed opportunity and a disappointment. The few nuggets of good comedy just aren’t enough to save this one. Rated: 6/10 Mar 18, 2024 Full Review I.J. Wheaton CBR More of a psycho-sexual romantic anti-comedy with the affectations of a detective story and very basic aping of classic Film Noir tropes overlaying that incredibly confusing cocktail of genres and conceits, rather than a more focused spoof... Rated: 6/10 Feb 24, 2024 Full Review Avi Offer NYC Movie Guru Meandering, lethargic, convoluted and overlong while lacking wit, suspense and thrills. Feb 9, 2024 Full Review Christopher Lloyd The Film Yap Comedian Matt Rife takes a stab at a lead role in a feature film, but it's a messy, tonally weird affair where the private detective does very little snooping, or anything much interesting.
