Roger Moore Movie Nation It's a playful movie, very much in the spirit of the engine-free race it documents Rated: 3/4 Nov 19, 2022 Full Review Sean Burns North Shore Movies Refreshingly irreverent, boasting a more eccentric cast of characters than you’re used to seeing in nature adventure documentaries. Jun 23, 2022 Full Review Loren King Newport This Week (RI) The photography and scenery are stunning. Jun 2, 2022 Full Review Thomas Stoneham-Judge ForReel Movie News And Reviews 'The Race To Alaska' is marvelous at not only documenting how racers work around the complications of participating in this race, but also exploring why they do it. Rated: 5/5 May 24, 2022 Full Review Michael Clark Epoch Times As tongue-in-cheek as “R2AK” often is, it's not without its moments of danger, peril, and high drama. The most intense shows a team attempting to sidestep a whirlpool measuring 30' around and 10' deep and others dealing with equally threatening riptides. Richard O Like the original gold rush. As a sailor, with Alaskan family, this is as crazy as it gets. Humor tempered with danger, risk, adventure and real beauty. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/01/23 Full Review Darryl C Even if you know nothing about boats or don't like documentaries, you will enjoy this movie. It's really a story about the people who, some experienced, some naive, find themselves in the middle of a wet, lonely and dangerous wilderness and wonder what they are doing there. The determination, adaptability and especially the humor these folks display is uplifting and heartening. Besides, the scenery is spectacular and beautifully photographed. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/03/22 Full Review Audience Member The RACE TO ALASKA is a fun, funny, exhilarating film featuring everyday heroes who race 750 miles to Alaska in their boat without a motor or support. It's uplifting, with stunning scenery of the Inside Passage, and not your typical dull documentary. You will be inspired by their perseverance and endurance as they deal with the challenges presented to them in a life-changing experience. It may inspire you to take on a major challenge in your own life! THE RACE TO ALASKA has a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Izzy P Fantastic!
