Richard Propes TheIndependentCritic.com Should appeal to its target audience with its unique portrayal of the apocalypse and relentless faith that miracles happen when we surrender our lives to God. Rated: 3.0/4.0 Sep 22, 2020 Full Review Luke Y. Thompson Forbes So no, the Second Coming of Christ isn't exactly what I'd call good, but when it's bad, it is so in new ways for the genre. Thomas H Flawless productions? Really? The entire movie is flawed! Believability is like a 1 (scale 1-10) NOTHING in this movie is biblical. Acting is really bad it's like they got a group of people who have never acted and threw them on set. Immortal bees? Couldn't even get halfway through. What a waste of resources and peoples time. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 08/09/23 Full Review Audience Member This movie was an interesting take on possibilities, however it completely ignored the biblical chain of events and had some pretty rotten theology. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member Pretty much a waste of an hour and a half. Very cheesy plot line and poor acting. A far ways away from being biblical. Anyone who has read the Bible and studied eschatology will have some real issues with this movie. It's an interesting watch if you want another viewpoint on theology but watch with discretion if you plan on any theogically accuracy. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review Audience Member Family-friendly movie with messages of love and salvation throughout. The leads delivered strong performances, and the overall production quality was impressive for a lower budget film. The crucifixion scenes were especially poignant and well executed. You walk away feeling good, and hopeful in Christ's return, which brings peace and paradise to the earth. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Audience Member Poor production quality is only one of myriad of problems with this low budget movie. The acting was amateurish. Worst of all was that the movie had very very little to do with the second coming of Christ. Yes, Jesus does come back; however, the focus of 99% of the movie was about famine and social unrest. This movie did not follow the Biblical teachings concerning the second coming of Christ. If you are going to name a movie after one of the most yearned for events in almost 2,000 years, you had better pay attention to details. A Pay Per View "Don't part with your hard earned money" type of picture. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Read all reviews
