La sceneggiatura, per quanto piena di comportamenti poco chiari e deficitari da parte del protagonista, riesce comunque a tenere l'attenzione alta in attesa di un finale che però non soddisfa particolarmente le attese. Troppo squilibrati i giochi di forza, quando il protagonista sbaglia ogni singola e possibile scelta; anche di fronte al baratro e alla disperazione, non riesce a reggere il confronto con i suoi avversari. Interessante l'uso della fotografia. Progetto abbastanza originale nel complesso, che però non porta nessuna vera grande novità se si inizia ad analizzarlo più attentamente. When he is returning to his car, he sees a boy lost in the desert that flees from him. He runs after the boy, the sunsets and he gets lost in the mountains. He sees a woman (Kate Lyn Sheil) in an intermontane depression in a shack, and he climbs down a rope ladder to meet her. The woman is very strange and offers food to him. He decides to return but the ladder disappeared. Soon he learns that he is trapped in the depression and under siege of sadistic youths. "The Seeding" (2024) is an insane, disturbing, original and underrated horror movie. The story is unpleasant and the viewer feels the man’s despair with the situation. The conclusion is predictable and raw. My vote is seven. It had the making of a great folk story, or at the very least a basis off of a situation similar to the purpose of the hole. But it is worth the watch to see it all happen and evolve into something that played nicely into the genre...
