Tommy van Buren (William Haines) is a handsome and talented American polo player. He tries desperately to attract the attention of a beautiful young girl named Polly (Alice Day), who is also being courted by Nelson (Jack Holt), the team captain. But Tommy's ego frequently hinders the courtship. Eventually his arrogance gets him kicked off the team before a match against Britain. But when Nelson goes down with an injury, it's up to Tommy to save the day.
