Familiarly told awkwardly, and philosophically weighted eccentrically with a charming cast comedically building up the pathos, particularly Grammar's performance given unnecessary chops for a certain effect that doesn't dampen the talent he brought to the role at one of his best. (B)

I watch a lot of movies and TV. I'm sad I'll never get this 100 min back. The cast was squandered due to a horrible trope and bad direction. Not one performance was believable. Also the title of this movie matches a handful of movies with the same name. It shows the originality of what was being produced. I often wonder how movies like this get the green light.

Its not about the destination its about the journey. There was most definitely a story being told and it wasn't about the music industry, just the music. Great watch great soundtrack.

The movie is very good when Kelsey Grammar is in it. A few of the scenes are fantastic. However, the director never really made up his mind as to what the movie was about. The soundtrack is great.
