The original 2008 movie is one of my favourite thriller movies of all time. I decided to watch the sequal with big hopes but i was wrong. It is like a student project of the original movie.

Same plot, different people makes for a bad sequel but there are enough fresh moments to justify itself. The acting is weak & has a slow start. But good camerawork, solid kills/jump scares, & well placed writing.

Trying to be a realistic horror movie yet the shotgun doesnt work like a shotgun (missing point blank range), protagonist racks shotgun twice before firing during one scene … Not even finished the movie but I think the director was drunk during the entire filming process and passed out during the review process. I can deal with bad effects but this is just dumb
