Sean O'Connell Washington Post At the end of the day, the movie's limitations keep its aspirations in check. It's safe for everyone, but inspirational for only a few. Rated: 2/4 Oct 17, 2013 Full Review Theodore Sariklis FILMINK (Australia) Despite the story not providing any originality, the film still flourishes thanks to the hard work of the cast and crew, creating a good looking film with a lot of heart. Audience Member Great family movie. We all loved and were so impressed with the kid actors and crew. Hope you get a chance to check it out and support the Boys and Girls Club of America. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Audience Member I'm not the audience for this film, so some of it left me a bit flat. I liked the story but some of the camera work made my eyes hurt. Fantastic performances from the kids, principally Jacob Williams & Noura Jost. The "name" stars are barely in the film at all, so don't see it for them, see it for the talented young cast. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/15/23 Full Review Audience Member Great and loveable young cast. Great direction, especially for someone who has to work with bunches of children at once. Solid performances by the stars. The film is safe and fun for the entire family, and inspiring to the youth involved in this project. Keep inspiring Dreaming Tree. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Audience Member I saw this film and loved it's old school feeling. The kids were authentic as was the message. Well done! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member Awesome movie. Worth the money to see. Great for the family. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Audience Member Beautiful camera work, really captured the spirit of the 80's. An overall funny and feel good film!
