The final reveals of the plot are so ludicrous and poorly told I am a little bit shocked. Biel does a fine job and the film looks like a real movie. It just has a nonsense script at its heart.

A strange one this. It's not really a horror movie as such and it isn't particularly scary. There is a very interesting ethical point raised via the denouement though. The movie as a whole was good and Biel's performance was excellent. I personally enjoyed this movie, ideological challenges and all.

Numerous twists that had me often guessing as to who is doing what to whom. Jessica Biel's performance was superb - I had no idea that she was such a great actress. This is a movie about how a married couple's idea of mercy and social justice becomes unhinged and escalates into sheer terror. Separating children from their mothers through either abortion or kidnapping is never an act of mercy for it leaves behind much sorrow for the victims of the injustice. I wonder if some of this goes on much in real life.

Granted, it is not an easy movie to follow so I gave it a 4-star rating. But it touches on some moral questions and leaves them up in the air for later discussions. Overall, I can say I quite enjoyed it.
