Archi Sengupta LeisureByte.com This is that movie that feels like a car crash that you simply can’t look away from. You love it and you hate it but once you start it you can’t stop it. Rated: 1.5/5 Jul 4, 2024 Full Review Jennifer Green Common Sense Media Twilight meets the After series in this tortured teen romance from Italy that features an excellent lead performance and murky undertones of childhood loss and trauma. Apr 17, 2024 Full Review Romey Norton Ready Steady Cut Overall, The Tearsmith is a teen romance suitable for younger audiences who aren’t old enough to know any better. Rated: 2/5 Apr 6, 2024 Full Review Jason Flatt But Why Tho? A Geek Community The Tearsmith is an utterly confusing, absolutely uninteresting mess of a movie. With no redeeming qualities, one can only hope that these clearly passionate teenage actors get more chances to participate in projects worthy of their time. Rated: 2/10 Apr 5, 2024 Full Review Johnny Loftus Decider The Tearsmith doesn’t really ever address the potential ickiness of this... Maybe this theme found fuller expression in the novel, but in the film, it can’t align itself with the overdone riffing on fairy tales, wolves, and innocent damsels. Apr 5, 2024 Full Review Aurora Amidon Paste Magazine If someone were to compile a comprehensive list of young adult romance genre tropes, it would likely be a spitting image of Netflix’s The Tearsmith. Caroline B I actually loved this movie. It’s definitely a bit of a tough watch because of the European dub. But it’s dark and moody and different. If you like romances but want something a little different it’s certainly that. I would 100% watch again. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/18/25 Full Review Nicholas S This is that movie that feels like a car crash that you simply can’t look away from. You love it and you hate it but once you start it you can’t stop it. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 04/14/25 Full Review salju m i really loves the books,i bought it because this movie toooo rushed! but great choice for the actor. the movies rushed like because its not give a ending that will show happy ending for rigel and her patner😭what happen to the evil orphan ??!! little disappointed Rated 3 out of 5 stars 04/13/25 Full Review Anela B First, it has so many cut scenes that it is a disaster. What kind of offspring is that in the end? What happened with Margaret?? Why do they fall in love in 3 seconds? Why is a dude chasing them at max speed 2km/h? Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 03/19/25 Full Review Alexis S It's an amazing movie I highly recommend. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/13/25 Full Review Xyxz 0 I love this movie because of its perfect soundtrack, which blends seamlessly with every scene, making it feel like the music was created specifically for those moments. The cinematography is stunning, with many clear and beautifully framed shots. The film's dialogue and script enhance its emotional depth, making it even more captivating. The romantic shots are perfectly executed, and the actors, especially the main lead Biondo, deliver outstanding performances. The way the main character expresses love without explicitly showing it, yet protecting and supporting their love against the world, adds a deep and heartfelt touch to the story. However, I would cut 0.5 points because, in some scenes, the pacing feels a bit too slow. But overall, it’s a fantastic movie! Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/26/25 Full Review Read all reviews
