William Bibbiani TheWrap They’re all trying to make a meal out of starvation rations. The cast’s efforts aren’t in vain, and the film is better for having them, but a thing can get a whole lot of 'better' before it gets 'good.' Jun 13, 2025 Full Review Ty Burr Washington Post “The Unholy Trinity” struggles to come up to average. Rated: 2/4 Jun 13, 2025 Full Review Joe Leydon Variety Provides more than enough rapid-fire shootouts, impressive stunt choreography, shifting allegiances and moderately clever plot twists to keep things interesting. Jun 13, 2025 Full Review Simon Foster Screen-Space [Until] the genre is rediscovered by the mainstream, Gray’s mid-tier oaters...will satisfy fans seeking wild west scenery and six-shooter melodrama. Rated: 3/5 Jun 21, 2025 Full Review Aaron Neuwirth We Live Entertainment Part of the issue stems from the film’s true lead, Lessard, who is fine but lacks the sort of charisma needed to help this story maintain the proper level of attention. Rated: 5/10 Jun 20, 2025 Full Review Steven Prokopy Third Coast Review The film is slow, artless, and not an especially convincing or authentic Western adventure story or tale of redemption. BETTY P very confusing plot line,, could not follow who everyone was Rated 1 out of 5 stars 06/21/25 Full Review Darryl This was a made for TV movie. Even though there are good actors, not a film that deserves a big screen. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 06/21/25 Full Review Brewman It was a typical western, but with some good twists. The actors were good, but Samuel Jackson was too good in his role, causing the movie to lose a star in my mind. The writers could have been more creative with the plot, and Jacksons character. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 06/21/25 Full Review eileen r We were so happy to see a western film back....."The Unholy Trinity" was a nice change of pace. Pierce and Samuel did fine acting jobs. The plot could have been clearer but held up. More westerns please! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/21/25 Full Review Julia It was a movie that kept you on your toes Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/20/25 Full Review DOps Fair story, really good character portrayals. Final scene was kind of corny. Worth the popcorn. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 06/19/25 Full Review Read all reviews
