Mark Kermode Kermode and Mayo's Take (YouTube) A decent, if somewhat slight, Hollywood drama. May 14, 2025 Full Review Jamie Graham Empire Magazine Jazzily scored and cut, The Uninvited hangs in the Hollywood hills and vibes like a ’90s indie. It’s no Swingers but it’s well-acted and makes entertainment of its earnest themes. Rated: 3/5 May 14, 2025 Full Review Jonathan Dean Times (UK) It is a decent, eerie premise, concocted by people who know their city well. Rated: 3/5 May 12, 2025 Full Review Amyana Bartley QBP Reviews Conners has created a brilliant film the likes of which we haven’t seen in a very long time. May 24, 2025 Full Review Brian Viner Daily Mail (UK) It's a clunky, over-theatrical movie-industry satire. May 15, 2025 Full Review Joey Magidson Awards Radar The Uninvited is a Hollywood dramedy with something to say about age. Rated: 3/4 May 14, 2025 Full Review Read all reviews

Les N A few hours of someone's life and the end of someone else's. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 05/26/25 Full Review Leah C I feel like the actors tried really hard here but I just found it really hard to watch … just awkward … weird pacing, the low budget seemed obvious, it seemed unrealistic that the wife spent so much time inside just hanging around (with the old lady guest and her son) while all the party guests were outside. At the end of the day, it was just really boring! Rated 2 out of 5 stars 05/18/25 Full Review Brian E Zzzzzzzz.... shows that it's not so easy to do a Woody Allen-esque talk heavy breezy drama comedy. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 05/18/25 Full Review Tony S I want to start of by saying I can't believe I contemplated not going to this because I was exhausted from 10 days of continuous work. Now, one thing I will say about this film is that although I've given it a high recommendation I did take issue with the start of the film and there was definitely some cliche moments that I honestly felt this film would have been far better without. The scene between Rose and Lucien at the end being one of them, not the scene as a whole; just the kiss. I'm purposely trying to be vague here as I don't want to ruin this film that had me balling my eyes out at the end of it. Special praise has to go to Lois Smith who plays Helen! They were absolutely phenomenal, and played the character of Helen incredibly well; which as an aside I honestly don't think enough people realise how difficult it is to act like you have Alzheimer’s, when in reality you don't. Having had experience in a professional capacity with individuals who have Alzheimer's and Dementia I was pleasantly surprised by just how well Lois played the role of Helen, and honestly without them I'm not sure this film would have worked. One final aside I'd like to leave you all with is that this film affected me so much I ended up calling my brother and had a heart to heart with him. 100% worth a watch and I hope you all get the same amount of it that I did. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 05/17/25 Full Review Sofia B The Uninvited es una película honesta, íntima y profundamente humana. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/16/25 Full Review Teresa Z Our past, present, and future are always with us and affect every decision we make, whether we're aware of it or not. Time, uninvited and masterfully portrayed by Lois Smith, brings order to the protagonists' lives, making them aware of the time in their lives and the possibility of change. A film worth seeing more than once. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/15/25 Full Review Read all reviews
