Christy Lemire FilmWeek (LAist) A "fold your laundry" movie if I've ever seen one. Sep 16, 2024 Full Review Robert Levin Newsday The Union" defies logic to such an extent that no amount of suspension of disbelief could ever justify it. Rated: 1/4 Aug 23, 2024 Full Review Ben Kenigsberg New York Times The “Mission: Impossible” series went missing in action this summer, but that’s no reason to settle for Netflix’s “The Union,” a depressing illustration of the wisdom that sometimes you shouldn’t buy — or stream — generic. Aug 19, 2024 Full Review David Nusair Reel Film Reviews ...familiar yet workable subject matter that’s employed to persistently (and pervasively) generic effect... Rated: 1.5/4 Aug 4, 2025 Full Review Maxance Vincent Film Speak Mark Wahlberg and Halle Berry can't save this horrendous action comedy. Rated: D+ Jul 14, 2025 Full Review Barry Levitt The Daily Beast If the co-stars had fun filming, you’d barely know it based on the end result. It’s a lifeless, visually uninteresting, convoluted experience that combines the thrills of waiting in a dentist's office with the mystery of waiting at the DMV. Sharon C I only chose to watch this movie because I am a Mark Wallberg fan. I couldn’t get past the lame plot and Hit and Run Halle Berry with her Karen haircut pathetic performance! Rated 1 out of 5 stars 09/03/25 Full Review Gregory E. The Union surprised me as a fun watch. The cast has good chemistry, there are some funny moments, and even though the story is predictable and runs a bit long, it’s still entertaining. A solid choice if you just want something light and easy to watch. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 08/24/25 Full Review Kent M. Bad. Really bad! Someone has more money than brains. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 08/23/25 Full Review Calvin O A truly awful film and a waste of a talented cast. The plot must have been written by AI. It had every cliched plot point you could imagine; the ordinary man becoming a hero; spy stuff; the beautiful ex-girlfriend; action; a foreign location. It wasn't even funny, just grim.i gritted my teal and slogged through it. I'd like to say that there were some interesting plot points that could have been done better it expanded upon, but that wasn't the case. I appreciate that companies such as Netflix need content to keep their subscribers happy, but the quality needs to be much better, even if it takes longer to produce. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 08/22/25 Full Review Robin L It's a great comedy with great action. Halle Berry & Mark Wahlberg are great together. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 08/18/25 Full Review Khải Anh N This movie has full of dialogues. Such a waste of time. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 08/09/25 Full Review Read all reviews
