While its imprint may dissolve soon after the credits roll, The Union could provide sufficient thrills to household duties.

Christy Lemire FilmWeek (KPCC - NPR Los Angeles) A "fold your laundry" movie if I've ever seen one. Sep 16, 2024 Full Review Robert Levin Newsday The Union" defies logic to such an extent that no amount of suspension of disbelief could ever justify it. Rated: 1/4 Aug 23, 2024 Full Review Ben Kenigsberg New York Times The “Mission: Impossible” series went missing in action this summer, but that’s no reason to settle for Netflix’s “The Union,” a depressing illustration of the wisdom that sometimes you shouldn’t buy — or stream — generic. Aug 19, 2024 Full Review Mini Anthikad-Chhibber The Hindu With action, ritzy locations, charismatic leads, and smart one-liners, ‘The Union’ is the very definition of time pass Oct 4, 2024 Full Review Tom Meek Cambridge Day “The Union” boasts a smattering of fine shootouts and car chases through the streets of London, but the rest is generic MacGuffin spy mash with a lazy ladling of rom-com. Rated: 2/4 Sep 23, 2024 Full Review Martin Carr martincarr.co.uk Mark Wahlberg and Halle Berry have both been in better things than The Union. A London based action thriller, that proves to be neither action-packed, nor particularly thrilling. This is polished and packaged Netflix dross at its most mundane. Jay W I'm sorry "the Gray Man", we have a new winner for the most generic action movie. It is the most predictable, by the numbers movie that it could have been created by copying and pasting pages from 12 other scripts. The movie has the easiest to call "twist" of all time. By the 4-minute mark of the movie you know exactly what story beats the plot is going to take. The main positive of the movie is the cast. Halle Berry, Mark Wahlberg and JK Simmons all do an excellent job. There are also a few good jokes. The movie is a union of not funny enough to be a good comedy and not good enough at action to be an action movie. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 11/20/24 Full Review Alison O This is a great action movie, great cast, funny, good pace, plenty of action and a little twist. I watched this at home for a matinee and it fit the bill perfectly. Not all movies have to be major epic blockbusters to gain 5 stars. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/16/24 Full Review Russell T It's a funny film that definitely worth a watch. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 11/11/24 Full Review Marc B It’s like trying to make a sequel into one movie, one minute he’s a nobody and the other he’s a trained spy, that movie was rushed, maybe enjoyable for toddlers, and the way we can tell main characters force themselves to show « attraction » to eachother, we’re far from mission impossible, more like mission dont make a second one please Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 11/08/24 Full Review Zoltan B Say what you want, The Union is a very enjoyable, funny B-movie. Wahlberg and Berry definitely have chemistry, there is no over-dramatization, nor serious political statements, it's a movie like them famous 89 min. Kris Kristofferson movies back in the 90's. Nothing remarkable, still very loveable. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 11/03/24 Full Review A.L.Jude P Oh.. it seems another plot written by AI. What a waste of talent for a joy ride.
