I'm sorry "the Gray Man", we have a new winner for the most generic action movie. It is the most predictable, by the numbers movie that it could have been created by copying and pasting pages from 12 other scripts. The movie has the easiest to call "twist" of all time. By the 4-minute mark of the movie you know exactly what story beats the plot is going to take. The main positive of the movie is the cast. Halle Berry, Mark Wahlberg and JK Simmons all do an excellent job. There are also a few good jokes. The movie is a union of not funny enough to be a good comedy and not good enough at action to be an action movie.

This is a great action movie, great cast, funny, good pace, plenty of action and a little twist. I watched this at home for a matinee and it fit the bill perfectly. Not all movies have to be major epic blockbusters to gain 5 stars.

It’s like trying to make a sequel into one movie, one minute he’s a nobody and the other he’s a trained spy, that movie was rushed, maybe enjoyable for toddlers, and the way we can tell main characters force themselves to show « attraction » to eachother, we’re far from mission impossible, more like mission dont make a second one please

Say what you want, The Union is a very enjoyable, funny B-movie. Wahlberg and Berry definitely have chemistry, there is no over-dramatization, nor serious political statements, it's a movie like them famous 89 min. Kris Kristofferson movies back in the 90's. Nothing remarkable, still very loveable.
