Audience Member Bubba Smith is a cop reluctantly teamed with FBI agent Beau Bridges in an attempt to bring down a drug operation that leads to a fanatical militia outfit. Decent action film where Smith is pretty stiff in the lead but sure does cast an imposing figure as a detective. Ending features one of the most unlikely one-on-one showdowns in film history between Bubba Smith and an aging Lloyd Bridges! Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member FBI Agent and local officer team to take down a drug operation tied to a militant outfit. Was expecting a buddy cop team with Beau Bridges and Bubba Smith but this lacked any comedy to ease the tension and Bridges never fully trusts Smith through the entire story; leaving the viewer a little aloof with the proceedings. Even the token supermarket holdup lacks the usual spark. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Audience Member this movie was a video nasty for me when i was a kid .. the video store we lived near carried this and i remember wanting to see this cause hightower from police academy was in it .. but boy was i in for a surprise.. strippers, dildo's and drugs .. nope not like police academy .. beau bridges directs the wild pair and you can tell he is trying his hardest to make a tough, sleezy, cop drama .. but it fall flat on its face .. bubba smith is fun to watch as he takes out baddie after baddie .. but overall you just feel kinda "meh" after the credits roll Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
