An ambitious, cluttered movie that wants to do too much and ends up accomplishing little. If it was a television series, it could work, but even the most patient, understanding viewer will feel shortchanged at the end. Go to Full Review

The dialogue is full of awkwardly ornate old-timey speech, which none of the actors can convincingly pull off, and the setting rings just as false. Go to Full Review

Milena 5d The movie was very unique! It blended elements of Western, horror, and mystery into one story. What stood out to me the most was the atmosphere. The scenery created a feeling of isolation and suspense, making the town feel like its own character. I liked how instead of it just all being jump scares, it built tension over time. This made the movie more intense. I also really liked that it explored deeper themes like family, ssacrifice, and faith. The emotional connection between the mom and her son made it even more engaging. The cast helped create a good community that slowly fell apart as fear and suspicions started to spread. I liked how the bginning of the movie was kind of slow. It allowed the mystery to develop and made the ending more impactful. Overall, The Wolf and the Lamb was very enjoyable. It wasn't a typical horror movie, I would definitely recommend it to peple who enjoy slow-burn horror movies that have meaningful themes. Overall, I would give the movie a 5/5 stars! See more J. M. @RT45579694 May 18 This really felt fresh to me! I highly recommend it if you’re looking for something different. You can tell it’s an independent film with a relatively modest budget, but the filmmakers squeezed every ounce of drama and suspense out of this supernatural western while paying painstaking attention to making you feel like you’re truly on the frontier in the 1800s. I recognized a lot of the actors from different shows, and it was really fun seeing them all come together and deliver such believable performances. That's why certain Filmmakers will still only shoot on 35mm Film, as they should. See more C F @C_Fox May 7 This one is a real stinker. They were aiming for Deadwood but they stepped in dogshit See more Nicholas C @RT94583189 Apr 29 Started slow but grew into a compelling story. The emotional weight behind Jo's decision making and the struggle of sin and corruption both in the town and surrounding the town, physical and supernatural kept me hooked. The performances were stellar, and the score was so beautifully executed, shocking for the film's low budget, definitively making this feel like a bigger film. Will watch it again for sure! I think the dialogue was spot on and Eric Nelson who had a good majority of it delivered it perfectly. Adrianne Palicki was a total badass and their lead had me crying by the end. As a mother, I couldn’t imagine doing what she had to do. 5 stars for me. See more Read all reviews
