Alec B @AlecMichaelB 2d Lifetime’s Yoga Teacher Killer: The Kaitlin Armstrong Story is a tough watch for all the usual reasons: the acting is atrocious across the board, the casting of Moriah is all wrong, and the TV movie is so melodramatic, given how intense the real case is. I understand the focus is on Kaitlin, but the movie fails to show Moriah Wilson herself; she was an elite, deeply disciplined cyclist with a sharp mind and huge potential, and here she’s mostly sidelined in favor of a narrow focus on Kaitlin Armstrong. That imbalance makes the story feel incomplete and frustrating. If you’re actually interested in understanding who Moriah was and what happened, the Netflix documentary The Truth and Tragedy of Moriah Wilson does a much better job of telling a fuller, more grounded version of the story.
