Mary C @marykc Sep 28 Wow. As another wrote, it’s the best movie I have seen in a long time. The young female lead was stunning. I understand it’s her film debut. I hope this means we will be seeing more of her. I am, I don’t want to say I am obsessed with WWII but I kind of am. I watch every film re the era, and this is definitely in the top 3. Don’t miss it. Everyone still stunned by the war and its aftermath. A kind doctor befriends a 14 year old girl. They are those who were left at war's end. So powerful, honest, human, and poignant. Makes you think…how did those who lived…live? Sad beyond belief in parts, but wonderful in most others. See more 12/11/2021 Heartbreaking and life affirming at the same time.
