Martin B Dec 27 Hard to believe the US Marine Corp band was playing the Dixie song with abundant confederate flags flying but it was a different era. Rory Calhoun was his usual charismatic self, handsome as ever and along with Alan Hale the only real actors in the movies. The racing sequences were sketchy but they always are in racing movies. Otherwise it was a basic B quality movie with a some cool old cars racing that had a bunch of silly forced drama but a satisfying ending.
