Audience Member Money-wasting promotion movie of Andy Lau. Two stars are for Andy and D.P. Pin-Bing Li who is famous as Hou Hsiao-Hsien's favorite cinematographer. Andy Lau is sincere for the role, and Pin-Bing Li's lighting design is gorgeous. Script sucks, and music is annoying. And it's really really sad and dipressing. Who wanna see this film twice? Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Audience Member Very much inspired by The Untouchable, the script is a patchwork of the period "big timer" films which were ruling the box office at the time. Not really the best material for David Lai to work with. Still, thanks to a solid art direction and action choreography, the final result is perfectly watchable.
