Audience Member Money-wasting promotion movie of Andy Lau. Two stars are for Andy and D.P. Pin-Bing Li who is famous as Hou Hsiao-Hsien's favorite cinematographer. Andy Lau is sincere for the role, and Pin-Bing Li's lighting design is gorgeous. Script sucks, and music is annoying. And it's really really sad and dipressing. Who wanna see this film twice? Not really the best material for David Lai to work with. Still, thanks to a solid art direction and action choreography, the final result is perfectly watchable.
