Onetime rodeo standout Lonnie Beale (Elvis Presley) needs a job, so the slick playboy heads to a dude ranch that caters to wealthy women, owned by Vera Radford (Julie Adams). There, Lonnie meets the attractive Pam Meritt (Jocelyn Lane), they fall for each other, and Lonnie discovers Pam's connection to a treasure map that might lead to riches buried in a ghost town. But a misunderstanding involving Lonnie and Vera angers Pam, putting the treasure hunt and their relationship in jeopardy.

Michele B 12/02/2023 all i can say is this movie turns into scooby-doo before scooby-doo existed. it was a typical elvis movie but it was fun and lighthearted with some great comedic timing. it's far from his best but still in the upper half of better movies he's done. the most confusing part of this movie is the title name. Therefore I would not say the songs in this movie are really the main attraction. Beautiful Julie Adams, hilarious Jack Mullaney, a spooky ghost town, and fight scenes are the reasons to watch this wild 1960's movie. You've got Elvis, okay, sure, but then you've got bikini clad women running around a dude ranch, mixed with violent kidnappers after a treasure-hunt plot a seven year old could have thought up but with just enough haunted house material to scar you if you actually are a child viewer.
