Tara Brady Irish Times This is a canny film about the uncanny valley, punctuated by fears that don’t yet have specific names and phobias, including deep-fake horror scenarios and “that feeling when one’s phone shills for something you just thought about”. Rated: 3/5 Sep 7, 2023 Full Review Wendy Ide Observer (UK) Stirs up a hornet’s nest of paranoia about AI and deep fake technology, but then rather misses the point with a clunky cyborg stalker plot. Rated: 2/5 Aug 20, 2023 Full Review Anton Bitel Sight & Sound As unnervingly smart and sinister as its insurgent android, this cautionary tale tests our evolving, inverting relationship with our own tools. Aug 18, 2023 Full Review Drew Tinnin Dread Central A fun if slightly predictable thriller that updates the stalker boyfriend and transforms him into an overzealous, murderous android. Rated: 3.5 Feb 17, 2024 Full Review Terry Sherwood Film Threat T.I.M. is a satisfying look at the horrors of technology as it integrates with our everyday lives. Rated: 7/10 Jan 24, 2024 Full Review Josh Goller Spectrum Culture In an era when A.I. threatens the livelihoods of artists and other creatives, T.I.M. illustrates how the tendency toward derivative storytelling still remains a very human characteristic. Artificially P Oh T.I.M...almost perfect. Enjoyable watch and the actor that plays T.i.m is hot. He is very convincing. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 09/20/24 Full Review Julie P A little predictable but the characters were relatable and the acting, believable. The scenery was beautiful which added to T.I.M. turning out to be an enjoyable romantic sci fi horror. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 09/07/24 Full Review Jeffrey P An idea that has been done numerous times before, particularly the ‘A.I. man servant’ aspect from the British. While technically sharp and sound, with a very solid build of suspense, the premise is very familiar and makes it that much more difficult for it to stand out from the rest and keep from being boring. The portrayal of ‘T.I.M.’ is really the only stand-out thing about this. While not a deficient film in any way, it still doesn’t add anything new to the genre or even the sub-genre of A.I. man servants gone wild. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 08/26/24 Full Review Audience Member This was WAY better than I thought it was going to be. The writing and dialogue were well thought out. The sets were really decent and the cinematography was also lovely. The ending wasn’t exactly how I would have liked to see it, but either way it was a good movie. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 08/04/24 Full Review Sarah W TIM is awful to her. If he really loved her he would have been able to kill her husband without her finding out. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 07/09/24 Full Review Audience Member T. I. M. Is a pretty compelling sci fi horror that stars off well but loses it's steam halfway through. I think what the film lacks is a sense of direction and starts to drift all over the place. Anyone who is already questionable/scared about A. I. air robots might enjoy this film a little better. The film starts off on the slow ambiguous side and then starts to pick up shortly after. I think this film could have fared better if there was a bigger kill count and maybe a little more graphic with the violence. Instead this movie takes the safe way out and a lot of the graphic scenes take part off screen. Georgina Campbell does a very good job here as the lead. T.I.M. gets a middle of the road 2 1/2 stars out of 5. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 06/03/24 Full Review Read all reviews
