Sa D @RT64242434 3d Really beautiful, powerful film. An artfully crafted and thought-provoking meditation on loss but also life and joy not only of nature but also our human families. Very smartly done to weave those two themes together and made me feel so alive and in love with our changing world. The film wants you to feel sorry the glaciers are melting, yet it’s obvious that means plants and animals can come back. They are purposely shown together to show that humans & nature are interconnected & need each other. I’m not sure if this warrants a 90 min doc since we can see how beautiful Iceland is at their tourism website. It definitely did not sustain my attention & I was pretty bored for most part since I do not really care for his family history. Just like its title, Time & Water, doc is pretty boring.
