Despite the wealth of obligatory elements (including an out-of-place sex scene), the tone remains appropriately severe, with an entertainingly destructive finale. Go to Full Review

nick s Sep 18 It's not a terrible effort. Similar theme to Bourne movies although it predates that. Biehn was too mousy for an action star and Kensit was trying too hard to enunciate her words. The camera work/editing was also a bit lacklustre for this type of movie... more suited to a drama. It's a shame as it had the bones of a great production. See more Mark F Sep 5 This film is mental. I feel bad for Michael Biehn that his promising career was derailed by appearing in junk like this. See more 04/02/2017 Action film with ambitions beyond it's budget. The film wanted to be kind of a sci-fi Bourne Identity, but on a straight-to-video level of budget. Michael Biehn plays a simple watchmaker, but when someone tries to kill him, it triggers a series of repressed memories that hint (SPOILER ALERT) he used to be a trained assassin. Patsy Kensit plays a psychiatrist who helps him uncover those memories while the two are on the run. Tracy Scoggins, Robert Culp, Richard Jordan, Raymond St. Jacques, Billy Blanks, Ray 'Boom Boom' Mancini, and Julie Brown in an uncredited role as a waitress, all appear in the film. Overall, this film has a solid cast with two very good leads, some okay action, but is nothing all that special. See more a.l.jude p 04/03/2014 Certainly a Good thriller comparatively to much of new movies. See more Frances H 03/03/2014 Weak, mediocre action/political thriller movie that has Michael Biehn trying unsuccessfully to reprise his Terminator role in a similar vein, with a watered down version of the last neon sign scene from the original Highlander at the end. Patsy Kensit is also only a weak substitute for Linda Hamilton and is, simply put, a wimp. Same goes for the whole film.
