Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 09/28/23 Full Review Nathan B Great movie I enjoyed watching it. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/30/22 Full Review Audience Member A Spanish-Italian film that serves as a sequel to the series Violetta. Full disclosure: I am not the target demographic for this film, nor have I seen an episode of the series. I also watched the English dubbed version of the film. This movie was boring. It was apparent from the beginning of the movie that they were relying on the audience to have an emotional attachment to the characters before the movie started. I did not, and did not develop any attachment to them during the film. This felt like a Latin American version of Hannah Montana, but without the double life premise. The writing didn't properly engage the audience with the characters other than Violetta, the lead. So her relationship with them didn't matter. If you are a fan of the series, maybe it might be worth checking out, but I'd suggest skipping this movie. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/15/23 Full Review r 9 It has an incredibly cheesy love story, one that has a fairly disappointing resolution in truth, but I quite liked this overall. I've never seen an episode of the telenovela so can't comment on how it interlinks with that, but - despite the cheese - I still had a suitable enough time watching. The cinematography, lead, locations and music are the film's positives. Martina Stoessel is extremely likeable and enjoyable as Violetta, she's the star of 'Tini: The Movie' no question. Adrián Salzedo (Caio) is good too. The supporting cast aren't anything great, but do the job that's intended. As noted already, I actually found myself slightly disappointed with how the love quarrel works out - which is rare for me, in these type of films anyway. I usually couldn't care less when it's written like this, but man the end decision is unsatisfactory. It makes sense, I guess, but doesn't fit the flow of what comes before. #Justice for you know who. Nevertheless, a (just about) good film. It has a nice vibe to it. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member The movie was good for non Violetta fans, but for any true fan of the Violetta show, the writing of this movie was horrible!!!! If I was the writer of a movie that was a depiction of a character from a show, I would at least try and tie some thing in to still give it that feel! For instance... Fran was Vilu's best friend on the show and Fran is from Italy, and not only did Fran not make an appearance, at least fake a phone conversation. Next, there is Ludmilla. She's in the movie and doesn't act like herself at anytime in the movie. But the big thing with Ludmilla is the fact that her and Fede were not together anymore???? The guy actually paid to have a freaking star in one of the constellations named after her!!!! And then there is Ramolo and Olga!!!! No mention, or fake phone conversation!!!!!! In this regard, for a true Vilu fan this movie was utter garbage!!!!!! Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Audience Member I'm not even a fan of the tv series but i actuaally love it Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Read all reviews
