Ken Jaworowski New York Times It certainly demands patience (and a forgiving eye) as it experiments with an odd style. Yet it's also a compassionate look at characters who don't dwell on life. Sep 16, 2015 Full Review Jim Brunzell III Minneapolis Star Tribune It's an essential American independent film, discovering small-town pleasures and profound human connections. Rated: 3.5/4 Apr 9, 2015 Full Review Sean Nam Slant Magazine Films hardly work properly on charm and whimsy alone, and it's to Britni West's credit that she's yoked Tired Moonlight's experimental sequences with the hard reality of characters trying to figure things out. Audience Member Wonderful indie debut by Mn filmmaker Britni West and starring St. Paul poet Paul Dickenson. I felt like I was lost in a trance as she alternated scenes of children playing while the people around them tried to make sense of their life. A film that is a subtle commentary on America but also a love letter. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/16/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
