Audience Member great psychodrama with emphasis on the psycho. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Audience Member The only thing I remember about this movie is thinking, after it ended, "This is the worst movie I've ever seen." It's just bad. And no, not "goodbad", either. Bad as in: life is too short. Don't waste your time. You'll never get this chunk of your life back. It's gone forever." Sad, sad excuse for a film. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/17/23 Full Review Audience Member Bit of a slow moving affair has an early 70's hippie couple taking up residence on an isolated bay only to be terrorized by their injured Vietnam vet neighbour and his two dobermans. Alan Alda does well here in projecting a dark side while seeming like a nice guy. The former soldier just can't relate to carefree Timothy, who used to be a clown and a mime. Frankly, I didn't like Timothy much either. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member Handicapped veteran befriends his tenants before beginning psychological campaign with the aid of his two vicious dobermans. A bit of a strange film; one of the first to cover the post-Viet Nam hangover. Of interest to see Alan Alda as a heel just before MASH; he delivers an understated creepiness right from the start though seems outwardly friendly. Deliberately paced even though only running for 82 mins. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Audience Member This film really doesn't deserve three stars, but I definitely got three stars worth of enjoyment out of watching crippled Vietnam vet Alan Alda terrorize a hippie couple with his two dobermans. Pretty weird stuff. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Scott Weinberg eFilmCritic.com The trio of actors keep things moving along nicely, and you'll find yourself wanting to see how it all ends. If a movie can accomplish that one simple task, it's probably a fairly good movie. Rated: 3/5 Sep 4, 2002 Full Review Read all reviews
