Audience Member Nice cinematography, unfortunately a quite uninspired script. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Audience Member Beside there are some different story than the original book and some missing parts, "Tom Sawyer" Germany-version 2011 film is still sweet, lovely and warming as the book does. It can be some noltalgia for whoever loves "Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn" tales. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review Audience Member A good lean adaptation of the story. All the actors are good, especially Benno Fürmann as Injun Joe. Occasional silliness and the especially anachronistic Louis Armstrong song in a dream sequence are bit distracting - but the movie recovers every time.
