Craig R This might be the worst movie I have ever seen. If screaming irks you, DO NOT watch this movie! The entire movie is the main character screaming. Screaming in general for no reason at all, or alternately screaming at the voices in her head. Screaming, "LOBO" (the dog she found... then lost, so she continuously screams his name). Then in between her screaming his name, when he does show up now and then the screaming gives way to dog barking (the dog's version of screaming). Then more screaming when she gives birth. Then the baby screaming. No plot whatsoever. DO NOT WATCH IT! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! It was compelling, captivating and full of things to provoke the mind. The actress is brilliant and the story and the cinematic work was off the charts. I cannot say enough about this film and the impact it had on me. I am a now a big fan of Alfonso the director! Amazing! Hope to see more of his magic. No, this is not your typical syfy post-apocalyptic movie… because for the very first time, actually, theres only one person/woman and a dog. Unlike all post-apocalyptic movies, like "I am legend" which they sale us that there's only ONE man (and a dog - which gets killed, WTH) but then, suddenly, other characters appear. In this movie the biggest challenge is her utter solitude, and the child she is carrying inside of her that I believe is an alien! WOW! This one, not so much. The first twenty minutes had my attention. But the survivor was too weak and mentally brittle for me. She kept living in the past and didn't seem smart enough to put the pieces together when things started changing. I kept watching due to curiosity about the baby (would it be human, or some sort of hybrid?). The ending left me with more questions than answers.
