isla s This is a perfectly pleasant family friendly film, that has the look and feel of a TV film, the sort of show that may appear on the BBC on a Sunday evening perhaps, or on CBBC perhaps. Its pretty watchable and I did warm to the sense of charm that was clearly present, although its also true that its not without a bit of cheese but I suppose what do you expect?. The plot is a bit unclear but most things are explained by the end. As I say its a pleasant watch thats family friendly but otherwise there isn't too much to be said about it. I suppose I would just about recommend it as a pretty easy watch that may be enjoyed by kids old enough to not need to watch cartoons to be entertained, although if you like constant action then this film may be a little slow and meandering for your tastes but otherwise its ok. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Audience Member An unoriginal plot of a film, but you get used to it. Not sure about the acting, or the dialouge, but Tom's midnight garden is a lovable film. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member A lovely kids movie about time and magic.
