Jens B I feared for the worst after reading the synopsis of this film. I could not have been more wrong. Films like TOUBAB remind me of the importance of being as unbiased as possible before watching a movie. Dietrich, Dieng and Nitschkoff elevate the script to something special, they manage to hit the right emotional notes at the right time. Impressive debut! (Bonus points for filming in my hometown, Babtou and Dennis would fit in pretty nicely here.) Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 07/31/24 Full Review Zu Z Beautiful, funny, heartbreaking and relevant! Loved it! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/05/23 Full Review Read all reviews
