During an impromptu trip to Europe to mend a broken heart, math teacher Frank Tupelo (Johnny Depp) finds himself in an extraordinary situation when an alluring stranger, Elise (Angelina Jolie), places herself in his path. Their seemingly innocent flirtation turns into a dangerous game of cat and mouse while various people, who all think that Frank is Elise's thieving paramour, Alexander Pearce, try to capture the pair.

The tone is lightly comic, the dialogue flirty and amusing but the performances are unengaged. There's no floor of reality, as there always was in a Hitchcock film, even his light confections.

Filme fraco, o roteiro é fraco, as cenas são fracas, a história é fraca, o elenco é fraco, e ninguém ajuda a melhorar o filme, os personagens são fracos, e o filme deveria ter cenas bem melhores e relevantes, para fazer o filme ser bom

The Turist (2010) is just a really confusing movie that you can't fit any piece into this crazy puzzle. The star-studded cast isn't enough to get a five-star audience for this.

Been watching this movie several times, not very impressed with the plot at all, way too boring and predictable but pleased to see the beautiful views of Paris and Venice and the elegantly old money look that Angelina Jolie give off.

Honestly the script is cute and silly. Its beautiful to look at and the movie feels like an older romantic thriller but the two leads have ZERO chemistry. They might as well be asleep on the screen. If they had a real spark the movie would probably be fondly remembered as fun digression.

This is a very, very bland film. What could have been a tight thriller full of tension and drama was instead tedious and highly predictable. Neither lead can save the film given a glacially paced script and screenplay, not that they have much chemistry themselves. Yes, Venice is pretty, but Google Maps would give you more enjoyable sightseeing.
