Robbie Collin Daily Telegraph (UK) A coldly mesmerising investigative thriller from Kei Ishikawa in which the cosy, middle-class family unit is revealed to be less nuclear than toxic. Rated: 4/5 Oct 30, 2017 Full Review James Marsh South China Morning Post Kei Ishikawa's enthralling adaptation of Tokuro Nukui's notoriously complex novel is by turns a grisly whodunit and scathing takedown of the respectable middle-classes. Audience Member Great Japanese suspense/thriller. I didn't see the twist coming at all. Good character development and background stories. Wow, the men were all pretty awful, despite the imprisoned single mum accused of severe child neglect being the seeming villain. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Read all reviews
