The town of Longhead Bay is forced to confront an invasion of alien forehead creatures that descend en masse. At the same time, local scientist Dr. Sheila Bexter (Fay Masterson) is conducting experiments based on her theory that human intelligence is stored in the forehead. To prove this, she creates "foreheadazine" and tests the serum on her unsuspecting colleague, Dr. Latham (Andrew Parks) -- but things spin out of control, and the town is faced with a cataclysm of epic proportions.

Stephen C It's a comedy, it's parody, and and it's unique in the way everyone speaks. Honestly, the cadence and the bizarre lines and delivery made me laugh for most of the movie. I got it because of a couple actors, but then I absolutely had to go buy every single movie by the director and writer, Larry Blamire. I like The Lost Skeleton of Cadavra even better. He works with a lot of the same actors, and they all crack me up each time. Not everyone's type of humor or genre, and it really is unique and made to look bad while being brilliant, but I got obsessed with them. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/27/23 Full Review matt dukes j This is a silly, funny spoof of 1950s and 1960s sci-fi "invasion by alien monsters from outer space" film. The acting is intentionally moronic and wooden. N0 efforts at naturalism or method acting here. Just goofy imitation B-movie acting. The invaders are critters from another planet who are parasites -- in the form of foreheads. This is also silly. They attach to humans on their foreheads and take control of the body. This film echoes the classic film INVASION OF THE BODY SNATCHERS starring Kevin McCarthy -- who makes a brief, funny cameo in this film. Dick Miller is also in the film -- actor in many Roger Corman '60s drive-in films. The characters are stereotypes -- like the mad scientist type -- in this case a female scientist who of course creates a monster unintentionally. Sci-fi films are often about our anxieties about technology and science and how they change and impact human life. This films spoofs sci-fi fears. Mainly it spoofs those old corny 1950s and 1960s films. It's fun. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 08/07/23 Full Review Abigail G The movie was a 10/10, the acting was phenomenally bad, so bad it was hilarious. The script was filled with innuendoes that were captivating. We laughed throughout the whole thing, especially at the fruit market, soup scene, and overall during the dialogue. I recommend this to anyone who wants a good laugh. The movie does not take itself seriously and neither can you while watching it. Haha. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/24/23 Full Review Audience Member Ok...if you're looking for high art this is not it. But if you're looking to be entertained by some loopy writing, and crazy story, with not bad production values. Watch this, and all of Larry's movies. This is a great spoof of those B-Movies, and unless you are a complete grouch, you will find something that will make you have genuine belly laughs! Gather some friends around and have a great time. (also don't miss The Lost Skeleton of Cadavra ..truly a great spoof of b-movies from the 50s,,,meow) Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/26/23 Full Review Audience Member I love a silly film once in a while and this one has the perfect weird plot. Some aliens come to a small place somewhere in America. They are actually forheads. They attach to people's heads and they turn weird. They have strenght but finding their weaknesses is hard. People are fighting them as they are slowly taking over the population. Who will win? Plenty of stupidity, loads of great, dry one-liners and actions. It gave me many laughs and it's actually nailing the master of being so bad it's getting really entertaining. I loved most of it and it's definitely one of the strangest little gems I've seen in a while. It's quite impressive to make a film about nothing but forheads so watchable. 6 out of 10 bells. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/17/23 Full Review Audience Member I don't even want to see it cause the title is just too weird Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Read all reviews
