JG It felt like Fast and Furious met the zombie apocalypse. I liked the movie, but it didn't capture the suspense and thrill of being chased, as well as the emotions as within Train To Busan. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 08/16/21 Full Review Evelyn I liked the combination of fast and the furious with Zombies. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/06/21 Full Review David Great storyline and action Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/12/20 Full Review Martin Great special effects! Rated 3 out of 5 stars 10/10/20 Full Review Mark W Good, but not quite as much as the first Train to Busan movie. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 10/07/20 Full Review john I did not see the original release so trying to link the stories together did not happen for me. As a stand-alone film, it was ok, especially if you like zombies . Rated 3 out of 5 stars 09/27/20 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Randy Myers San Jose Mercury News The sequel rides the same rails as the original but doesn’t manage to re-create the kicky nonstop action/tension that made “Busan” so enjoyable. Rated: 2/4 Dec 23, 2022 Full Review Nick Schager The Daily Beast Amplifies everything about its predecessor-for better and worse-while staying true to its core values. Feb 3, 2021 Full Review Chris Stuckmann ChrisStuckmann.com I feel like [director Yeon Sang-ho] misunderstood what he had the first time around. It seemed like he was just trying to make a "Hollywood" movie [for the sequel], and that's really not what made the first film so great. Rated: C- Dec 2, 2020 Full Review Tom Cassidy Common Sense Media Its long, drawn out CGI set pieces feel weightless and dull, with no tension or excitement to be found on the derelict streets of South Korea. Rated: 1/5 Nov 6, 2023 Full Review Jae-Ha Kim Jae-Ha Kim What "Peninsula" lacks in humanity is made up with spectacular car chases and firearms. Is it as good as "Train to Busan"? No, but it's good enough, in a Hollywood shoot-em-up kind of way. Rated: 2.5/4 Jul 27, 2023 Full Review Matt Glasby Radio Times While it can't quite reach the heights of its predecessor, it's still ambitious, exciting stuff.
