Jens B A nice snack between "Gremlins" and "Silent Night, Deadly Night". The production value is much higher than I expected, and the Saplings are just adorable. I love the musical score—it immediately brings to mind 1980s Italian cannibal films. The movie never gets annoyingly self-aware or meta like Deadpool but stays focused on the essentials. I’m definitely not turning my back on my Christmas tree anymore...
