Anthony H. @Hardy Jan 8 Tremors 4 falls short in every aspect. The story is a lackluster retelling of a similar plot to the original film. The film struggles to progress the plot, and their attempts to rectify this is merely to cut to a month later multiple times. It’s a tedious watch and not particularly engaging. This one is definitely worth skipping. See more TheMovieSearch R @TheMovieSearch Dec 4 Tremors 4: The Legend Begins is yet another example of why the franchise should have ended after the original. What once felt fresh and thrilling has slowly unraveled, and this prequel represents one of the lowest points. The screenplay is scattered and directionless, clinging to the faint hope that a small but loyal audience would accept anything with the Tremors name attached. Instead, it becomes a slap in the face to fans who loved the iconic first film with Kevin Bacon and Reba McEntire, reducing that legacy to a forgettable mess. The attempt to reinvent the Graboids with new abilities only worsens things, stretching a simple, effective creature concept into something bloated and silly. There’s no real credibility left—just a chaotic patchwork that drags the franchise deeper into irrelevance. Tremors 4 isn’t just unnecessary; it’s the kind of sequel people forget on purpose, a reminder that some stories should never be overextended. That being said, it still manages to be sufficiently entertaining to satisfy fans, albeit with few surprises to exceed expectations.
