Simple story is ingeniously told. Has honest human values and is completely without hokum. Go to Full Review
Dave Kehr Chicago Reader 04/22/2020

william d @acsdoug 07/14/2021 Poignant and moving, an excellent family drama. See more 11/19/2010 I LOVED, LOVED LOVED this movie! The daughter was so spunky and I knew it from the opening moment where she tips her hat, adjusts her handkerchief and points to the boy! EXCELLENT! AWESOME! I LOVE HER! Her chemistry with the guy she loves (who I liked too) and the mother was great! She was just so nice and fun and loveable! The whole cast worked so well. And modern! It was perfect!
