Shayla B I remember watching this when it first came out. I was watching it at a friends house for a sleepover late at night, it was going to be the last thing we watched before we went to bed. At first it was fine but when 'Butt witch" (yes that's her name) came on I felt so uneasy, I don't know why but I felt so unsafe and I barely got any sleep that night. I was probably 11 or 12 at the time. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 05/13/23 Full Review Audience Member It's a fun concept that has a lot of fun and interesting characters. However, the main protagonist (Reggie) can be very frustrating and irritating to those that don't share her viewpoints and struggles. She is the sole cause of most conflicts in the show, and her absolute refusal to change and grow, though it may be a clear trait of her character, is difficult to watch and makes her a terrible role model for children in her shoes. The characters say that Reggie acts like she's 5 years old, and I think to myself, "that would have been a perfect age to make the character, since they would act this way purely out of not knowing better". Overall, her character is very believable, but not very likeable, which holds the show back greatly. On the other hand, the character design and art style is very unique and readable. The 80's-like color schemes, while a bit overdone, is a nice fit in a world. I did get a few laughs from the imaginary characters, either by looks or by dialogue, and they were easily the best part of the show. Ultimately, I think the next season has great potential, given that the writers give more care and development to Reggie for both adults and children. To clarify, I'm certain that her arc leads to her eventually learning to accept change and to grow up, but the fact that I'm 25 episodes in, and she hasn't applied anything that she learned from previous episodes (Ex: The episode where she is an art teacher, learning that it's not okay to vandilze or ruin other people's stuff, then a few episodes later she starts breaking apart a birthday party that she did nothing to make but planning) was very aggravating to watch. Hopefully this will be better for the next season.
