      Critics Consensus

An implausible, overheated potboiler that squanders a stellar cast, Twisted is a clichéd, risible whodunit.

angela g i dont know why this movie gets so much hate i like this movie the acting was good the twist was good great movie Rated 4 out of 5 stars 10/30/23 Full Review Jack O Well, it's been a couple of years recently since I've heard of a film called Twisted and when I thought about it, I decided to give it a try after I looked at the reviews and it is panned as f**k. I mean, surely I wouldn't expected it to be that crap. So I watched it and I found it to be okay. This year today I watched it and I found it to be very mediocre thought that the story is terrible and the acting is phoned in especially from Ashley Judd and that includes the editing and the filmmakers doesn't seem to be bothered to cut them out and thinking that they're funny. To be fair, Twisted is not a good film to me extent however it is okay. I remember the time when me and my brother been watching it and we were just watching it in silence. Wow. If you're thinking that this is the movie, Twisted, might be for you and you didn't think it was half bad like me and when you're watched it recently, you're just like "Why am I watching this piece of s£!t!" Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 06/22/23 Full Review steve d The strong cast can do nothing with this dull script. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Casey H I was wondering how I missed this movie (based on its cast), but after watching it I knew. It is not great... Rated 2 out of 5 stars 11/09/22 Full Review Audience Member The movie was a good entertaining movie. Despite the negative criticism, it was good enough for me. Great cast, decent story. No, it's not a great movie. But for escapism, it was fine. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Audience Member A totally farfetched and gritty thriller, reminiscent of this era, that did not age particularly well. The plot kept getting more and more ridiculous, but this still absolutely held my attention even though the conclusion was predictable. Samuel L. Jackson Binge: SLJ's character was important to this film, as the head of a police unit and as an adopted father figure to the protagonist, Ashley Judd's character. *SLJ #14 Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
