Belgrade photographer Builka (Branka Katić) is taking pictures of student demonstrations during the Yugoslav Wars when she meets Bogdan (Nebojsa Glogovac). He's a wounded soldier with nowhere to go. So Builka invites the man to sleep on her sofa -- beginning a romance between the two, despite their very different opinions about the war. Such relationships are fraught with peril, as Builka learns when she investigates her grandmother's own wartime romance.

Audience Member The only film by Gorcin Stojanovic I liked. Beautiful war love story with exceptional actors, close to my experience as well as to my heart. I saw Nebojsa Glogovac for the first time and remembered him forever. He's my favorite actor nowadays.
