Most of the special effects sequences were lifted from Battle Beyond the Stars and The Abyss. There is more corny dialog and nonsensical information that you can shake a stick at. You can tell that much of the movie is hobbled together stock footage, from other movies that they narrate over with descriptions of what's happening. A bad movie, but if you're a bad movie lover, then it comes recommended. Also nothing from the VHS cover is part of the movie really.
